Model Hong Xuan full name is Luong Thi Hong Xuan was born in 1996, in Ba Ria Vung Tau. She lives and works mainly in Ho Chi Minh City.

Hong Xuan contestant has a record height in 7 seasons of Vietnam's Next Top Model (VNTM). Hong Xuan impresses with a huge height of 1m90. Participating in the VNTM 2015 program, Hong Xuan carried the baggage of a round zero, walking super crookedly on high heels, unable to master body and facial gestures.

Even supermodel Thanh Hang advised Hong Xuan to give up because she did not see any potential in her. In 2021, talking about the reason for appearing less on the catwalks than before, she explained: "My skills on the catwalk are still weak. Besides, I feel that I am not confident enough myself. I believe so it takes some time to mature. When I'm confident enough, I can improve my skills and appear more mature. At that time, I will decide to act again."

Hong Xuan admits that she is not a person who likes to be famous. The female model understands her own strengths and limitations to give appropriate directions in each stage.

"Being on the runway is my passion so I still want to nurture it. But I'm no longer the goal of having to do everything to be famous. So now, I still keep my passion for modeling and still appear on the fashion floor to bring the shows that I love," she said.

Talking about being suppressed in the profession, Hong Xuan said that in any environment, it is easy to have friction and "talk back and forth". Having appeared in fashion catwalks for a while, 1.91m long legs realized that sometimes it was not suppression but the way of expression.

"Most models have a strong personality, when they don't like it, they will say it. Many people think I'm gentle, but actually everyone has their own personality. When people feel that they are being touched, they will say it, not keep it in their eyes. belly. So I don't think it's oppression. There are also this and that, we can't equate a whole modeling world because of a few individuals," she confided.

Hong Xuan confided that when she was absent on the stage, there were also colleagues who asked and expected her to return. She admits that because she knows the limitations of her body, she will not be an expensive model. Therefore, student Vo Hoang Yen also has another direction to be able to support life.

The female model shared: "I still have a passion for modeling, but besides that, I still have my own jobs like running a business and having my own projects to make ends meet. Currently, I'm working in a broadcasting company. I know and have been with this job for 4 years now. When the designer loves me and remembers me, I still continue with my passion and go on stage."

However, Hong Xuan added that owning a height of 1.91m is sometimes also her limitation in the modeling process. According to long legs, usually designers have prepared standard sizes, so her ability to fit is very difficult. Only those familiar in the industry remember and call her back to the stage.

"There are two sides to everything. Height gives me advantages and I'm lucky for that, but there are also limitations. I have to accept and overcome my weaknesses as well as promote my strengths. It's something I've realized as I get older, so I don't feel sad about it," she said.

The model born in 1996 also admitted that her "terrible" height hinders her in love. She confided: "The difficulty here is that I always have a bit of guilt. I can't force everyone to be civilized and polite to me. In life, 100 people will also have one or two people who say it. saying things that make me unhappy. So when I know a friend who is shorter than me, and they go with me, they have to hear the same thing. So I personally feel that I am not ready. I feel very sorry for them. At some point, when you meet someone who is tolerant enough and doesn't care about what's out there when walking next to you, that's the right time."

After a while, model Hong Xuan said that in early January 2023, she was hospitalized for heart valve replacement surgery. Contestant of Vietnam's Next Top Model 2015 was in a coma for more than a day. She spent 7 days in a sterile hospital room. On the morning of January 12, Hong Xuan was taken to his personal room for his family to take care of.

"The first time I opened my eyes after the surgery, I saw that the cords were plugged all over my body, I couldn't count how many wires were there. It hurt to talk, it hurt to breathe, I didn't dare to move because I was afraid of breaking the cord. I stayed like that. with supportive drug lines and rely on the dedicated care of the doctors in the hospital," she recounted.

Hong Xuan shared that she is practicing walking and breathing exercises so that she can quickly recover and return home to celebrate the Lunar New Year with her family.

The model shared that in the past few days, family and friends took turns taking care of and encouraging. She was touched by everyone's love.

"With everyone's love, I tried to get well quickly. From today, I work hard to walk so I can reduce pain. I hope to be able to take my mother to travel everywhere next year," she expressed. .
