Sharing about the predestined relationship with this talented musician, singer Hong Hanh said: "After leaving the Saigon light music troupe in 1990, I went out to sing at many venues. Also very lucky. when I was introduced to the show by many brothers and sisters. At that time, I used to sing foreign music and lyrical music. During a performance, I saw a small person come up to the stage, then I whispered in my mind. I thought about why the singer was singing but the audience was indifferent. Feeling that this person was looking for me, when the music was playing, I politely asked him what he wanted to say, and received the answer "You sing so well, I'm Trinh Cong Son." That's all.

It is known that before that, Hong Hanh could only see musician Trinh Cong Son from afar at her sister's wedding, then she did not dare to approach to talk. Later, it was revealed by the late musician himself that he had been looking for her for many months in many places. At that time, musician Trinh Cong Son was looking for a new voice to inherit singer Khanh Ly and he chose Hong Hanh to sing his songs. She shared that when she announced her marriage to a Japanese, there were countless detractors and objections from people around. "They just thought that I married a foreign husband to settle down. Even my parents didn't think I was in love, but only thought I was romantic," Hong Hanh recalled.

Commenting on her ex-husband, singer Hong Hanh said that he is her deep love, a man who knows how to take care of his wife and family. Besides, the Japanese way of raising children also makes her like and admire. However, in 2003, the female singer felt confused when she did not see her husband promote his son to obtain Japanese citizenship. From then until 10 years later in 2013, she was still waiting for her husband to finish this job but still did not see any movement.
