Ms. Hang said that the two citizens are in normal health conditions and are entitled to legal support in accordance with regulations. Information on the protection of citizens will be provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in accordance with the competence and provisions of Vietnamese law.

Earlier, on the morning of July 1, the Daily Mail reported that a 17-year-old British girl had been raped in a hotel on the resort island of Majorca, Spain.

When working with the authorities, the victim said last weekend, she met 2 artists at a restaurant and interacted with them. After that, the British girl agreed to go to the hotel where the two artists were resting.

Local newspaper Ultima Hora reported that the girl was sexually assaulted by two men aged 37 and 42. Next, they forced her to wash herself clean in order to erase her traces. It is known that the victim's aunt was the one who informed the police.

Notably, the newspaper described the alleged rapists as "actors and musicians who have worked professionally for a long time in Vietnam".

At the same time, netizens discovered that Hong Dang and Ho Hoai Anh had many similarities with the description of the suspect in the case. Both went to Spain, lost contact and have not returned to Vietnam.

On the morning of July 5, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism had information about the fact that actor Hong Dang and musician Ho Hoai Anh were suspected of sexually abusing minors.
