Miss France Flora Coquerel was angry when she was called by name in the recent Epstein Dossier leak. The beauty expressed her confusion even though she had nothing to do with the incident.
On January 30, the US Department of Justice announced a new declassification of nearly 3 million government documents related to Jeffrey Epstein - a scandalous figure who died in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. Among the records published, the name of Miss France 2014 Flora Coquerel appears in an email sent to Epstein in 2015.
The email was sent by a man named Daniel Siad, which mentioned introducing a young model to Epstein, and suggested the possibility of bringing her to New York. Although the email was not sent by Flora Coquerel and there is no evidence that she ever communicated, met or had a relationship with Epstein, the fact that her name was mentioned in this sensitive context still caused a stir in public opinion.
Specifically, the email dated March 6, 2015 reads: "Hi Jeffrey, this is one of the new models I want to send to New York. She is not currently in Paris, but will arrive next week. She is still in school, 20 years old, and was voted Miss France in 2014. Her name is Flora Coquerel. Let me know what you think. Cordial greetings from Stockholm". This content quickly spread widely, causing Miss France's name to fall into the center of discussion, although she did not appear in any related actions or exchanges at all.
Under public pressure, Flora Coquerel officially spoke out on her personal Instagram page. The beauty expressed shock and outrage when her name was associated, either directly or indirectly, with a case involving sex crimes. "Nothing can justify my name being mentioned or used in such a context," she said.
Flora Coquerel emphasized that she had never had any contact, meeting or relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, nor did she know the man named Daniel Siad mentioned in the email. She said that all the insinuations surrounding the incident were false and deeply hurtful. "Being paired with sexual exploitation - which I always strongly condemn is a serious attack, directly affecting my dignity and reputation," the beauty shared.
Not stopping there, recently, Miss Universe 2009 Stefania Fernandez is also said to be present in the Epstein File. Radar said: "When the Jeffrey Epstein documents were resurfaced and sparked new controversies, the beauty world was once again in turmoil. Stefania Fernández, Miss Universe 2009, is said to be named in emails related to Epstein, sparking heated discussions on social media."
This made the online community confused when in a short time, the world beauty world had 2 names dragged into the scandal. In addition, it also recalls allegations against Miss Venezuela tycoon Osmel Sousa that some of the Miss Universe crowns in Venezuela were rigged. Miss Universe 2009 Stefania Fernandez has not yet made any statement on the above issue.
