Miss Doan Thu Thuy surprised beauty fans with her performance at Miss Global

Since being crowned Miss Fitness Vietnam 2022, Doan Thu Thuy has been considered a rather lackluster beauty, even compared to the runner-up. However, with her outstanding performances at Miss Global, the audience was completely surprised by this queen.

On the evening of January 13, the semi-finals of Miss Global - Miss Global 2023 took place in Phu Quoc, attracting the attention of many beauty audiences.

The competition night brought together 70 contestants from countries and territories. The girls went through two competitions including swimsuit and evening gown.

This is the third international beauty playground in 2023 - 2024 that chooses Vietnam to host.

Representing Vietnam at Miss Global this year is Doan Thu Thuy, born in 1995, from Phu Tho. She was crowned Miss Fitness Vietnam 2022 (Miss Sports Vietnam). At the competition, Doan Thu Thuy was a student of coach Minh Tu. She has a height of 1.73 meters and body measurements of 83-63-94cm. Before becoming Miss Sports Vietnam, she worked as a model for many years and performed for major events, including Vietnam International Fashion Week.

Although the beauty's name is not too famous in the Vietnamese beauty industry, on the night of the semi-final competition she shined brightly with her professional steps.

Regarding the stage performance, the host representative made the Vietnamese audience surprised and proud. However, if Thu Thuy wants to achieve high results at the contest, the beauty also needs good behavior skills when receiving questions from the judges. If she continues to win the crown or runner-up achievement at this contest, the Vietnamese sash strip will be highly appreciated on the world beauty map.

Previously, Doan Thu Thuy left many impressions with her image as well as the energy she brought to the contest. The beauty actively introduces the beauty of the country, culture, and people of Vietnam to international friends.

At the recent talent contest, Doan Thu Thuy also caused a surprise when performing "Co Doi Thuong Ngan" to the music of the literary song of the same name.

Doan Thu Thuy said she spent a lot of time learning the performance of "Co Doi Thuong Ngan" because she wanted to introduce to contestants and international friends the cultural beauty of Vietnamese people, which has been recognized by Unesco as a Intangible cultural heritage of humanity.

To enhance the beauty of the Hau Dong performance, Doan Thu Thuy has carefully prepared costumes to recreate the image of Co Doi Thuong Ngan. The outfit is designed with silk material and hand-studded with stones by a scarf-making artisan. The green color of the outfit symbolizes mountain and forest nature, the representative color of Co Doi Thuong Ngan in the 36 dong mau costumes.
