Heather Shu couldn't hold back her tears as she sang "Mother's Diary," revealing why everyone was emotional

On the stage of the art show "Gratitude Nghia Sinh Thanh" 2023, singer Hien Thuc could not hold back her emotions, when performing the song "Mother's Diary" associated with her name.

On the evening of 24/8, Hien Thuc performed at a meaningful music night on the upcoming Vu Lan season. Appearing on stage in a flowing white tunic, the singer brought the songs "Mother's Diary" and "I Owe Mother" full of emotions, replacing a deep gratitude to the elders. Both works were composed by musician Nguyen Van Chung.

Heather's repertoire is in chapter 3, conveying the message: Our parents are the ones who give us life, teach us the first steps in life, and are also the ones who are ready to receive us when we stumble or are injured and unable to walk.

With a sweet, deep voice and close lyrics to "Mother's Diary", Hien Thuc took away many tears from the audience. Supporting the singer's emotional voice is the animation that recreates the meaning of this song, helping viewers feel like they are immersed in a true life story of a mother with a diary documenting her child's journey of growing up.

When performing "Mother's Diary" live on stage, Heather Shu could not hide the surge of her emotions. Perhaps because she is so absorbed in the story contained in this song, at some moments, her emotions almost burst. The singer's extremely touching performance received countless applause and encouragement from the audience.

After completing the performance, MC Nguyen Khang came out and instead of Hien Thuc shared with the audience that the singer's daughter was studying abroad, so for a long time she put aside work to accompany and take care of her children.

The lyrics consist of 6 pages of diaries that cover the mother's emotions during pregnancy, childbirth, learning to talk, walking, going to school, having feelings for the opposite sex and growing up and then going to work. This song debut has become one of the important milestones in Hien Thuc's career and also the outstanding composition of musician Nguyen Van Chung.
