Hari Won - Zhencheng "failed" miserably, criticized: Poor singer, unknown lyricist?

Therefore, it is surprising that the combination of the duo Zhencheng - Vuong Anh Tu did not create the expected explosion. The song opens gently with piano. Zhencheng plays the role of a heartbroken man, remembering his old love who is now hand in hand with someone else. He begins singing: "Being with someone who can't laugh / I want your life to turn a new page / Before blindly together / Just for chasing love."

The lyrics are somewhat simpler than many songs Vuong Anh Tu composed, without many evocative images but mainly more about expressing emotions. In the following passages, the song swept listeners into a series of tragic confessions. The singer felt bewildered and hurt, gave all his affection but still could not hold back his lover.

It can be said that Not enough to keep me is not really impressive musically. Zhencheng's song presentation is still simple, there is not much diversity. He handles many notes that are still rough, lack softness, roundness, so he does not create strong emotions with listeners.

Even as the song passes through the chorus, Zhencheng keeps the same even singing style as it was at the beginning. The historical music video directed by Huy Tran is also not too excellent. The music video mainly illustrates the song rather than building a clear story. Moreover, the entire scene was done in the studio with props, somewhat detracting from the naturalness of the MV.

Hari Won is old

Like Zhencheng, Hari Won also chose a heartbreaking song to mark his return to music. As he had expected was Zheng Thang Binh's composition, combining two Korean authors, Shintto and Kim Hyun Seok. The song has a soft pop ballad-style melody, mixed with a bit of R&B to refresh. The highlight lies in the modern, K-pop orchestration with spread guitars and reasonably used keyboards.

The content of the song is not new, put from the perspective of a girl who falls in love. The song is gentle and easy to listen to, but Hari Won still argues because of the lack of clear Vietnamese lyrics. In return, the MV has beautiful images with a foreign context. Many scenes are constantly changing from yachts, harbors to romantic beaches, creating scenes that are both romantic and luxurious.

This time, Hari Won took a bolder step by releasing multiple versions of the MV to promote the song. Besides the Vietnamese version, the singer also released the Korean version. However, her voice is still a minus, causing the quality of the song to decrease. Her Vietnamese pronunciation is still unclear, making some passages a bit difficult to hear. The way the singer handles the passages in the song is still simple, not much different from the previous songs she has released. Hari Won sings in his mother tongue more comfortably, but the old handling makes the song not really stand out or memorable.

In general, both Hari Won and Zhencheng's songs are easy songs to listen to. However, the couple is not really too prominent and new compared to the current music market. After more than a week of release, the MVs all had flat views, completely absent from the charts, even by juniors such as Toc Tien, Phung Khanh Linh, My Anh ... eclipse. This is a disappointing achievement for big names like Zhencheng or Hari Won.
