Singer Ha Myo's full name is Nguyen Thi Ngoc Ha (1993), lives and works in Hanoi. She is currently an artist working at the Vietnam Music and Dance Theater.

With products that combine traditional folk melodies with modern music, singer Ha Myo is emerging as a new breeze in the Vietnamese music industry.

In addition to wanting to further spread the nation's cultural values, Ha Myo also wants to inspire young ethnic minorities.

Having experienced the limitations of people born and raised in the highlands, Ha Myo understands that some young people from ethnic minorities often harbor low self-esteem, which limits their abilities, thinking that they My dream is something far away and luxurious.

"I want to inspire people of the same Muong ethnic group like me in particular and ethnic minorities in general. I hope that they can overcome the "label" of an ethnic minority, which means overcoming Thinking that being an ethnic minority is something that limits our abilities," Ha shared.

One of Ha Myo's most well-received products is "Xam Hanoi", a Xam song combined with EDM and rap music. It was the success of "Xam Hanoi" that motivated the Muong ethnic singer to want to spread her own ethnic culture further.

"When I learn more about folk music and sing a lot about it, I no longer enjoy listening to young music like I used to. However, the journey to discover the "fertile" land of ethnic music is not easy, especially when Ngoc Ha chooses a different approach compared to others.

"Doing well is not enough, you also have to do it right. Combining traditional music with modern music means I have to learn very carefully about both genres of music.
