Ha Anh was born in 1997, from Bac Giang, is a famous name in the transgender community. The 26-year-old transgender beauty used to study Vocal music, Department of Cultural Management of the Military University of Culture and Arts. The time to go to university is also the time when Ha Anh shows her true self: Growing long hair, wearing g.irl's clothes.

It is known that Ha Anh's birth name is Nguyen Duy Long. From a young age, Ha Anh noticed her difference with her peers. She doesn't like boys' games but prefers to play with girls. Deep in her mind, Ha Anh always aspired to be a g.irl. The difference also caused Ha Anh to have to face malicious ridicule from friends.

After going to university, Ha Anh gradually came out by changing her appearance. At first, her parents were shocked, but then they also accepted to let Ha Anh live as she is.

With the approval of her family, Ha Anh injected female hormones and underwent surgery to change gender. Ha Anh has never forgotten her 21st birthday. That day, she burst into tears when she read the happy birthday message from her parents: "Happy birthday daughter, I hope the path you choose will be right, no matter what, you are still your c.hild." . It was the first time that Ha Anh heard her parents call her "daughter".

At the Top 16 selection round of Miss Transgender Vietnam 2023 and many previous public sharings, Ha Anh revealed that she used to face many difficulties when applying for a job due to the obstacle of being transgender.

"When I started to dress like a g.irl, I went to find a part-time job to earn m.oney to cover my student life. But when I went to 10 places, I went to 9 places and refused, 1 place agreed, then 2 days later I returned. I called to say that I didn't need to come to work. I tried to explain and hope they would understand and create conditions for me to work but couldn't. Finally, because I wanted to earn extra income, I worked as a waitress at a nearby restaurant. school, where they don't require documents, just need to work hard.

Transgender people like me face many problems when applying for a job. Despite having a good profile and good ability, she is still afraid of being transgender. Besides, the fact that the appearance is female but the gender on paper is still male also makes us discriminate," Ha Anh shared.

During a talk show sharing about transgender stories, Ha Anh was loved by everyone and invited to be the BTV - MC of VTV Cab. Therefore, when she has become more successful as a TV host, Ha Anh wants to use her image and influence to inspire people in the same situation.

With her efforts, the Bac Giang g.irl erased everyone's prejudices about her gender story.
