The filmmaker Godzilla x Kong brings many majestic natural scenes with high visual effects. The context of the Hollow World is overwhelming with vast mountains and forests, rich ecosystems and many magical plants, until deep beneath the millions of degrees Celsius hot lava underground.

Tom Hammock, the art director of Godzilla x Kong , said he used filmmaking methods from the Mission Impossible and James Bond franchises for his film. He explained that this method of filmmaking limits the use of visual effects to create scenes.

Instead, the team builds more than 60 settings from three continents and four countries: Greenland, Iceland, Hawaii and northern Australia. In particular, the Daintree rainforest in the state of Queensland (Australia) is used as the main backdrop.

The Godzilla x Kong filmmaker takes advantage of real spaces to give the viewer maximum sense of authenticity. This is a special feat creation when the giant protagonists are 100% computer-generated.

In addition to building the context of the Hollow World, the filmmaker also let the audience travel with Godzilla through many world-famous wonders such as the Colosseum (Italy), the pyramids of Giza (Egypt) and the statue of Christ the Redeemer (Brazil).
