The filmmaker Godzilla x Kong brings many majestic natural scenes with high visual effects. The context of the Hollow World is overwhelming with vast mountains and forests, rich ecosystems and many magical plants, until deep beneath the millions of degrees Celsius h.ot lava underground.

Tom Hammock, the art director of Godzilla x Kong , said he used filmmaking methods from the Mission Impossible and James Bond franchises for his film. He explained that this method of filmmaking limits the use of visual effects to create scenes.

Instead, the team builds more than 60 settings from three continents and four countries: Greenland, Iceland, Hawaii and northern Australia. In particular, the Daintree rainforest in the state of Queensland (Australia) is used as the main backdrop.
