On the morning of August 16, ToofP member of Uni5 (real name Nguyen Lam Hoang Phuc) was the next name to officially announce his departure from the group, leaving 6thSense Entertainment. The singer thanked all members, Dong Nhi and his wife Mr. Cao Thang as well as the staff for supporting him in the past time. ToofP also announced to change their stage name to Phuc, revealing their solo debut after leaving the group.

The fact that ToofP or any member of Uni5 left the group is no longer too surprising to fans. Fans of Uni5 have long been in bitter conflict with their agency, with incomprehensible artist management stifling the group's and individual members' growth. At this time, fans unanimously called for Mr. Cao Thang's company to announce the dissolution of Uni5 so that the members could go their separate ways, unable to continue to bind members in this situation anymore.

As soon as the above information is approved by 6thSense (owner of Uni5). Dong Nhi - Mr. Cao Thang immediately received a series of angry comments from fans appearing on many posts:

Accordingly, the member who just left ToofP group shared that he was fortunate to meet President Mr. Cao Thang, who is a gentle "senior", helping Toof.P learn many things. Toof.P said that after discussing and agreeing with Dong Nhi - Mr. Cao Thang on the direction in the near future, he was supported by his decision to operate independently, away from the barriers in the path of music and art.

Besides announcing his departure from Dong Nhi company - Mr. Cao Thang, Uni5 members also decided to change their stage name, from Toof.P to Phuc.

"I decided to change my stage name to Phuc, marking a new journey, a new challenge. This is the guy who followed me from childhood to adulthood, hope everyone does not hate... From now on, PHUC is no longer under the protection of the management company, please love PHUC more...", Uni5 member shared.

In November 2016, Uni5 officially announced the full lineup with 6 members Cody, K.O, Luc Huy, Toki, Tung Maru, Toof.P. It is undeniable that Uni5 has both talent and visual efforts, but subjective reasons from the development path of 6thSense company and objective reasons from the domestic market have made the group not achieve the expected success.

In March 2019, Toki left the group after a long period of non-joint activities. Then in December 2022, Lu Huy was the second member to leave the group. With ToofP officially leaving the group today, Uni5 theoretically only has 3 members Cody, K.O and Tung Maru. Called "theoretical" because all 3 other members are also quite active.

Cody Nam Vo can be considered the luckier case when having a solo project with a relatively good level of investment.
