Recently, Miss Grand International (MGI) 2024 continued to receive another unfortunate incident when the representative of Costa Rica - Macarena Chamberlain confirmed her withdrawal from the contest.

On his personal page, a representative of Costa Rica posted a long article sharing the reasons for this decision. According to the share, her mental and physical health was seriously affected, because of the last-minute changes made by the MGI organizers.

Miss Grand Costa Rica wrote: "With a heavy heart, I would like to share that I made the difficult decision to withdraw from the Miss Grand International pageant. My mental and physical health has been severely impacted over the past few hours due to the last minute changes the organization has made. While I understand and appreciate Miss Grand International's good intentions in improving the contestants' experience, adapting to these situations is too complicated for me and my health must always be a top priority."

Besides, Miss Grand Costa Rica also sent her deep gratitude to her family, friends and people who supported her throughout the way to participate in the contest. She emphasized that this is not the end, but just the beginning of new projects, including the release of music that she has cherished for a long time.

The international beauty fan community expressed regret over Miss Grand Costa Rica's decision to withdraw because it was not long before the MGI 2024 finale would take place.
