Dinh Nhu Phuong was born in 2001 in Quang Binh, studying at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. She was crowned Miss Sea and Island Vietnam in 2022.

At the time of the contest, Nhu Phuong bearing the number 105, possessing a height of 1m75, a body measurement of 91-62-96cm, and a beautiful face attracted the attention of the audience right from the first rounds.

On the evening of October 22, 2022, the final night of Miss Sea Island Vietnam took place at Tuan Chau International Tourist Area, Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province with the theme "I - Vietnamese". The best 36 contestants of the competition competed, including Dinh Nhu Phuong.

It is known that the crown for the new Miss Sea and Island Vietnam 2022 is called Power of the Sea, crafted from 12 blue diamonds and 3. 417 white diamonds of different sizes and shapes. The crown value is VND 3.9 billion.

Notably, having just received the crown not long ago, Miss Dinh Nhu Phuong asked to return it to the contest organizers and wanted to spend all the auction money for soldiers far from their families and relatives to protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands in the Paracel Islands, Changsha.

"Whether I have the crown with me or not, I will definitely always try to change myself, improve myself day by day to deserve this noble position," she said.

"The organisers stood by my actions. Everyone then sat down for a meeting and decided to let me keep the crown for a month, for post-coronation activities and to pay sponsor benefits. I have now returned the crown. This item is preserved by the organizers in Hanoi and plans to hold an auction later this year," she shared.

Miss Sea and Island Vietnam 2022 affirmed that so far she still does not regret her decision. The beauty thinks it's an act that comes from the heart.

"The journey to participate in Miss Sea and Island Vietnam 2022 not only gave me experiences to grow up and learning opportunities, but also showed me the hard work and difficulties of soldiers day and night clinging to the sea.

My actions people think are special. They called me the first miss to pay the crown at the finale. But to me, it's just the affection that wants to be given," she expressed.

As Phuong admitted, his income increased significantly from receiving fashion contracts, promoting tourism after the coronation. She also felt that she changed a lot in style, dressed well, selected and carefully matched each outfit when attending the event.

In the near future, the beauty born in 2001 wants to pursue a Master's program in Business Administration in parallel with artistic activities, as well as implementing community projects.
