Artist Uyen Trinh said that there are artists who, despite having the main role, often want to take on supporting roles because then they can renew themselves, showing a different image of themselves in the eyes of the audience. For movies with tragic stories, the main role or having to be patient, fate is the sufferer, so now the supporting role has many opportunities to make an impression.

In addition to acting, artist Uyen Trinh is also known as a voice actor. During her 40-year career, she took on many character lines and always tried to give her characters a new color. She added that, both before and now, the supporting role's salary was still very low, unable to help the actor make a living, so she soon worked as a voiceover.
