Also according to the late artist's daughter, before her death, Phi Nhung had 1 unfulfilled promise to Wendy. Specifically, more than 3 years ago, singer Phi Nhung promised to go to the US to make cakes and celebrate her birthday with her biological daughter, but she permanently left when her promise was not fulfilled.

On August 20, 2021, singer Phi Nhung also wrote a birthday greeting to her daughter from afar and choked up to announce: "My favorite song, happy birthday. Let's make it my birthday later."

During the late Phi Nhung singer's battle with illness, Wendy Pham told her mother: "December 2019 was the last time we spent time together.
