According to ABC News, the release of the videos comes after Homeland Security Special Agent DeLeassa Penland provided evidence corroborated by hotel receipts, flight records, and text messages. These documents show Diddy-Cassie used the aliases "Frank Black" and "Janet Clark" to book hotel rooms, in an attempt to conceal their true identities.

Notably, the decoded messages revealed that the 1986-born singer directly contacted two dancers nicknamed "Dave" and "The Punisher" to arrange a meeting in the early morning of October 14, 2012.

Another notable text message was on November 16, 2023, when Cassie Ventura officially filed a lawsuit against Diddy alleging repeated "physical contact" and abus.e, Khorram was found to have texted the 55-year-old rapper: "If you can't be honest with me, this isn't going to work. We both know what your weaknesses are."
