He said that out of 10 applicants, only 1-2 people can be selected as truly suitable. In addition to health, height and basic martial arts skills, calmness and courage are key factors. "A bodyguard must know how to control his emotions and always be alert to react quickly in any dangerous situation. If he is hot-tempered or a thug, it is very easy to harm the artist," he affirmed.

The nature of the profession is to follow the artist everywhere, even keeping many personal secrets. Therefore, professional ethics and confidentiality are mandatory. According to Tung Yuki, "no artist likes their bodyguard to be nosy and gossipy".

Besides his role as a bodyguard, Tung Yuki has also acted in films and has been invited by many directors. However, at the age of over 60, he only accepts roles when he finds them suitable and does not affect his health or main job. For him, protecting artists is still the most important mission.
