Cao Thien Trang, Vu Thuy Quynh succumb to new faces despite being predicted to be crowned Miss Cosmo

Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 ( Miss Cosmo Vietnam) is halfway to finding a new owner for the prestigious crown. The strong contestants also gradually become more visible in each broadcast episode.

Recently, the contest homepage has released the rankings of 5 excellent contestants holding the highest votes in the category "Most Favorite Beauty", including: Le Dam Hong Tho, Bui Thi Thanh Thuy, Phan Le Hoang An, Quach Thi Le along with Dang Tran Ngoc.

Notably, the names that stood out in terms of media right from the start of the contest such as Cao Thien Trang, Vu Thuy Quynh, Ngo Bao Ngoc or Bui Xuan Hanh were all "defeated" in terms of votes in front of the rookies.

Cao Thien Trang was previously known as a personality model, also known as a 'drama queen'. She achieved many high achievements such as: Runner-up 2 Vietnam's Next Top Model 2012, Top 5 Vietnam's Next Top Model All-Stars,... and a familiar face on runways. So the fact that she enrolled in a beauty pageant caused many viewers to leave quite negative comments.

However, after many episodes of reality TV "I am Miss Universe Vietnam 2023", Cao Thien Trang is gradually receiving more support from the audience. The beauty performed extremely well at all challenges of the competition. She also shared right in the contest about how she practiced 3 times to control her emotions. This can be clearly seen through each broadcast episode, Gao Tianzhuang in the present has become much calmer. Although she is still very frank and outspoken, she no longer shows the slant and arrogance as the image before imprinted in the memory of the audience.

When asked about the reason for competing in Miss Cosmo Vietnam, the beauty shared: "The decision to compete was an experience that I never thought I would do. Yet this year, I did it at the last line where a girl is still eligible to participate in beauty pageants. The crown has probably never been the purpose of my life. But being able to do something I've never done before, enjoy the path I'm going through and present a very new Gao Tianzang is the purpose of this journey."

Besides Cao Thien Trang, Vu Thuy Quynh is also a prominent name in this year's contest. The beauty was born in 1998 from Dien Bien, over the years she has been a prominent face representing the Northwest land 'fighting' in many major beauty arenas. From the beginning of the program until now, Thuy Quynh has always shown her determination when participating in the program, along with a certain performance that she has maintained since the beginning of the program until now.

In addition, Bui Xuan Hanh is also a potential candidate for the top position of Miss Cosmo 2023. The name Xuan Hanh has left an indelible mark on fashion fans after her performance at the reality TV show The Face Vietnam 2023. The student of the excellent Vu Thu Phuong team entered the Top 4 and then became the runner-up when advancing to the final.

Possessing an impressive face, standard physique of 82-60-88 cm, and height of 1m72, the young girl from Ninh Binh was once suggested by the judges to try her hand at acting. Xuan Hanh once refused to register for the beauty pageant even though supermodel Vu Thu Phuong directly requested.

The semi-finals and finals of Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2023 (Miss Universe Vietnam) will both be held this December, in Dalat.

The winner will be able to participate in Miss Cosmo - the second international beauty arena organized by Vietnamese.
