The project Rossner is referring to is "The Hotel Martinez" - a non-fiction love story set at the famous hotel and casino during World War II. Brad Pitt is being considered for the role of Pitt Emmanuel Martinez - the hotel owner, while Angelina Jolie is being "tailored" to play Emma Digard - Martinez's seductive lover and muse.

When asked why he pursued Pitt and Jolie so passionately, Rossner replied: "The film would have been a success with them. We couldn't even think of another choice."

Admitting that Angelina and Brad's reunion on screen is far-fetched, Danny Rossner said it's not out of the question. "If we can get a ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon, Pitt and Jolie can put their differences aside and make this movie together," the director said.
