"I think right now, Brad is getting paid $20 to $25 million per film and Angelina is getting paid $15 million per film. We're willing to pay 50% more than their usual rate," the director said. This means Pitt could receive $37.5 million while Jolie would pocket nearly $22 million.

The project Rossner is referring to is " The Hotel Martinez" - a non-fiction love story set at the famous hotel and casino during World War II. Brad Pitt is being considered for the role of Pitt Emmanuel Martinez - the hotel owner, while Angelina Jolie is being "tailored" to play Emma Digard - Martinez's seductive lover and muse.

"There are also hot scenes between the two main characters. Not erotic scenes but very passionate love scenes between them," the director revealed part of the script. When asked why he pursued Pitt and Jolie so passionately, Rossner replied: "The film would have been a success with them. We couldn't even think of another choice."

Admitting that Angelina and Brad's reunion on screen is far-fetched, Danny Rossner said it's not out of the question. "If we can get a ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon, Pitt and Jolie can put their differences aside and make this movie together," the director said.

Although Brad Pitt and Angelina - who are still in a tense dispute over the Chateau Miraval estate - have not yet spoken out, the majority of viewers believe that no matter how "huge" the salary is, the ex-couple will definitely refuse.
