For 12 consecutive years, from primary school to the end of high school, Ban Mai always achieved excellent students in academics. At the age of 10, Ban Mai learned to play sports and won her first prize, a volleyball uniform medal.

Previously, Ban Mai had posted a photo of her 11th grade transcript on her personal Facebook page, which was quickly "digged" when she was crowned Miss.
