I received the admission notice to the Polytechnic University first and thought I failed the University of Medicine and Pharmacy. When preparing to enter the Polytechnic University , I received the admission letter to the Medicine and Pharmacy department. Without thinking, I happily studied medicine as my mother told me."

To have money to pay tuition, Dr. Thinh worked as a tutor, arranged chairs at the theater, ran events... During the Tet season, he returned to Ho Chi Minh City with 250,000 VND in his pocket.

After 2-3 years of studying, the poor student met doctor Ngoc Phuong (Tu Du Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City). The female doctor was the one who introduced Mr. Thinh to study abroad in France.

During 2 years of studying abroad, Dr. Thinh specialized in Cosmetic Surgery. However, when he returned home, he chose to work in the Obstetrics Department, Tu Du Hospital.
