As one of the current favorite names, however, actor Quach Ngoc Tuyen shares about his current work and life, affirming that up to now he still does not dare to think of himself as a celebrity.
Participating in the program Vietnamese Family Shelter led by MC Quyen Linh, actor Quach Ngoc Tuyen could not contain his emotions when witnessing the plight of orphan children. The image of children in difficult circumstances studying while taking advantage of their free time to help their families made the actor reminisce about his past.
Quach Ngoc Tuyen expressed sympathy for the character because his family was also a poor household in the locality. He often replaces his great-grandmother to receive gifts from sponsors. Because his family was in difficulty, he had to walk 1-2 kilometers to receive gifts. By the middle school years, when television was still a luxury item that few families owned. The image of people in the neighborhood gathering together every night to watch movies and plays, the desire to become an artist began to burn inside him.
Not being from a wealthy family, when he graduated from high school, Quach Ngoc Tuyen had to search for himself to enter the Ho Chi Minh City Theater and Cinema School, which he considered the first cradle that brought him into the profession. The journey of pursuing art with "Vi Ca" is not easy.
"I'm almost aware of one thing that maybe I'm not as lucky as other people: I don't have relationships and I don't have money. So at that time, my friends just focused on studying, while I was on the outside. After graduating, I had to work part-time to earn money. My main job at that time was working as a security guard at Big C To Hien Thanh.
Sometimes I was an extra actor, or an audience member for television shows... At that time, I had to skip school and work as an extra, mainly to learn the trade, learn how people work and to have enough money to make ends meet," Quach Ngoc Tuyen said.
During his third year of university, Quach Ngoc Tuyen joined the stage "New Smile". Working with many famous comedians at that time such as the late Artist Kim Ngoc, the late Artist Huu Loc, the late Artist Chi Tai, the late Artist Hoai Linh, Hoang Meo, Long Dap Trai... was an extremely lucky thing for the actor. pellets.
Quach Ngoc Tuyen affirmed that he learned many lessons from the New Smile stage, from small roles, ordinary public roles to a few Korean princes in Hoai Linh's live show, it was an effort to learn. of the guy.
He added: "From then until now, I have no pressure, no feeling of fear at all. Because every time I accept a role, I try to fulfill the role as best as possible. If I knew, I would study more. Luckily, my brothers and sisters did not put pressure on me but just taught me little by little." From his initial efforts, Quach Ngoc Tuyen gradually made his mark in the hearts of the audience with many roles, most especially the role of "Vi Ca", the role that became the actor's nickname.
Quach Ngoc Tuyen humbly affirmed that he was lucky to have the audience accept this role. He himself is always trying to strive to do more and also wants to transform into another character that is also loved by the audience.
"I want the audience to look at me and see that I can do many types of roles, not just a gangster. And when I perform other roles, I am also very liked and well received by the audience, but not strong enough like the role I played. Vi Ca", the star of the movie "Face Off: 48H" said.
Talking about his career, Quach Ngoc Tuyen affirmed that up to now he still does not dare to think of himself as a star or a truly famous person, but only knows that he still needs to try every day, every role. when working. For Quach Ngoc Tuyen, he is always afraid of getting old in his mind, so he always likes to play with young people so he can learn many new things from his juniors.
He said: "And I don't use my long experience in the profession to influence young people, but on the contrary, I want to listen to you more. I will consider and filter which is right and which is wrong. come back to absorb. And they can also learn from my experience."
From difficulties, Quach Ngoc Tuyen always cherishes every moment of his career and never lets family or business matters affect his art.
"I'm aware of one thing: to have Quach Ngoc Tuyen like now, to have Mr. Vi Ca like now, it's all thanks to the profession, thanks to the Patriarch for me. So all the time I give priority to work. Just like the program "Vietnamese Family Shelter", I also have work but still try to arrange to be present. As soon as I finish filming, I rush home.
I think the matter of arranging work and family depends on whether you want it or not. Like when I'm away filming, sometimes I'm not home for 3 weeks or a month, so I take advantage of the filming to finish calling my family. Or take advantage of the days when I don't have a filming schedule to run home and play with my children for a bit. Sometimes I come home and play for 4 hours and then return to the set to continue working," Quach Ngoc Tuyen confided.
Sharing about his small family, Quach Ngoc Tuyen feels lucky to always have his wife by his side. The actor affirmed that even though his wife is young, she is always self-aware of everything. Since having a baby, his wife has researched everything on her own, preparing well for her motherhood journey. When it comes to taking care of the children, both he and his wife do not stipulate anyone's responsibility, each person is aware and helps each other.
The actor affirmed that he was less playful when he had a family. He said: "Actually, in the past, I enjoyed playing a lot. I thought I didn't have a family, so I often went out to play with my brothers after performing. Even though I didn't drink much, I still enjoyed it. There was a lot of fun. One day, I went out until 3-4 a.m. It was normal. Now, I still play, still maintain relationships with my brothers, but know how to be moderate, after work, when is there really anything fun or interesting? When I'm working, I go out with friends, otherwise I go home and play with my kids."
Quach Ngoc Tuyen understands his responsibility to his small family, especially after participating in Viet Family Shelter, making the actor appreciate his family even more. Witnessing early orphan children lacking the love of their parents, the actor and Miss Ngoc Diem worked hard to overcome challenges to bring a total prize of 115 million VND to orphan children.
