On August 22, Alan Walker suddenly posted a video sharing his presence in Vietnam on his personal page with 9.9 million followers. The video also immediately reached more than 9 million views on the social network TikTok.
At the beginning of the clip, the DJ born in 1997 re-shared a video about a homeowner in Hanoi whose bicycle was stolen, which once caused a stir on the social network TikTok. It all started with a video recording a man wearing a black hoodie with the Alan Walker logo "sneaking" a stolen bicycle out of a house. The video recording the incident taking place in an alley in Hanoi quickly went viral, attracting more than 12.8 million views to date.
The video was reposted by Alan Walker on his TikTok page with a call for those who own a shirt bearing his name to use it properly. The humorous question "Where are you now, bike?" (roughly translated: "Bike, where are you" - lyrics from the male DJ's song Faded) was widely spread on social networks along with the above clip.
This August, Alan Walker secretly flew to Vietnam and showed off his presence in the S-shaped land in a very unique way. The Norwegian-British DJ said he went to the exact location in the clip of the stolen bicycle, and personally returned the bicycle to the owner.
Perhaps because he felt guilty towards the person who lost his bike, Alan Walker planned to "compensate" the owner of the bike during his visit to Hanoi. After some investigation, the famous DJ's team found the owner of the bike and contacted him, informing him that a "special gift" was on its way.
This person did not expect that Alan Walker himself, wearing an authentic "branded" hoodie, came to give him a brand new bike, not forgetting to include a "true love, false reason" shirt.
After completing the mission, Alan Walker gave the camera two thumbs up. Under the post, Alan Walker humorously shared: "I did it. Mission accomplished. The bike is back where it belongs."
Alan Walker's video attracted nearly 400,000 views after only 2 hours of posting. In the comments section, many Vietnamese viewers expressed surprise and delight at the DJ's "unique" action.
Currently, Alan Walker has not revealed the reason for his visit to Vietnam. The male DJ born in 1997 was in Vietnam in 2017 to perform. He also chose Son Doong Cave as the location to film his MV Alone Pt.II.
Alan Walker's full name is Alan Olav Walker. The male DJ born in 1997 is considered a musical prodigy, an EDM icon of the world. Alan Walker is the owner of a series of hit songs with billions of views such as Faded, Sing me to sleep, Force.
Alan Walker's music is considered creative, bold and extremely attractive to young people, especially those who love EDM music. Alan Walker often covers his face when appearing. And it is the hiding of his face that makes him mysterious and this is also one of the intentions of Alan and his team.
It is known that Alan Walker has no background in music, he has a great interest in computers, programming and graphic design. He then taught himself by watching tutorial videos on YouTube to produce music himself.
He was also able to play many musical instruments such as piano, violin, guitar from a young age. Alan Walker began pursuing a songwriting career at the age of 14.
In 2015, Alan became famous thanks to the song Faded and received platinum certification in 14 countries. Currently, this song has reached nearly 3.7 billion views on the YouTube platform and his account also has nearly 46 million subscribers.
