According to initial information, the fire occurred at about 2pm on February 4 at the motel room number 3, lane 71, Tam Khuong street, Dong Da district, Hanoi city.

Born 1997, hometown Trieu Son, Thanh Hoa province; Giap Van N (born 1997, native of Bac Giang); Tran Duy H (born in 1997, from Nam Dinh); Le Khac S (born 1997, from Trieu Son district, Thanh Hoa). All 4 people are university students in Hanoi.

All 4 victims living here are students, in addition, they also work as a shipper. Currently, the Criminal Police Department and many professional forces of the Hanoi Police have investigated to clarify the cause of the fire.

Earlier on February 3, about 15:45, according to initial information, people discovered a fire broke out in a house located on Vo Thi Sau Street, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City, so they shouted to each other to find a way to put out the fire. but failed because the fire spread quite quickly.

Receiving information from the public, the Fire and Rescue Police Team - District 3 Police dispatched 3 specialized fire engines and 25 officers and soldiers to the scene, deploying fire fighting and rescue plans.
