On the afternoon of April 23, Miss Huynh Tran Y Nhi held a send-off before leaving for Telangana, India to compete in the 72nd Miss World - a beauty contest with a history of more than 70 years.

At the event, Miss Ý Nhi's father was present early to support her, but Ý Nhi's boyfriend did not appear, causing the public to be concerned about their current relationship.

Miss Ý Nhi's second evening gown is called "Garden of Eden" with a mermaid-tail shape that hugs the body's curves in a soft and natural way.

The combination of pastel colors creates a poetic, airy design in harmony with the feminine, elegant image of Y Nhi. The highlight of the outfit is the chest and upper body, which are intricately embellished, creating a vivid effect.

"I will come to Miss World with all the love that everyone has for me, along with determination, confidence, courage and responsibility," said Y Nhi. The reigning Miss World Vietnam 2023 said that the journey to conquer the crown is not only an opportunity to shine personally but also a special occasion to spread the image of Vietnam to the world.

In the main program, Ý Nhi also shared about the preparation process from image, skills to charity projects. She presented a self-introduction video to the Miss World organizing committee, showing a youthful, modern spirit, combining love for the homeland and national pride. An important highlight in Ý Nhi's journey was the "Heart To Head" project, which went through 12 provinces and cities, donating 20 bookcases with more than 6,000 books to students in remote areas. The project also included renovating facilities at many disadvantaged schools.

The most touching moment for Ý Nhi was when she arrived in Nam Trà My, Quảng Nam. "I still remember the steps that led me to Nam Trà My, where the first bookcases were placed. What I am concerned about is how each book not only opens up knowledge but also opens up new horizons for children. I believe that Heart to Head is not just a plan but a journey of compassion for both me and the children," Ý Nhi confided in the project introduction video.

Miss Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc - Executive Director of Miss World Vietnam - commented that throughout the journey, Y Nhi has constantly made efforts and has been well received by the audience, hoping that the audience will continue to accompany and support Y Nhi.

The special moment of the ceremony was when Y Nhi gave the first bouquet of flowers to her beloved father - Mr. Huynh Tan Nguyen. She was moved to tears, her voice choked up as she gave flowers to her father and relatives on stage.

Miss Ý Nhi will officially arrive in India on May 7th, participating in sub-contests such as Head to Head Challenge, Talent and Sport. The 72nd Miss World finale is scheduled to take place on May 31st.
