The "Nanjing Hong Ti" case continues to stir public opinion with more complicated details. One of the most prominent "guests" in the leaked videos is suspected of impersonating.
"Fake meets fake": When "Hong Ty" and "the bearded guest" both have secrets
The "Nanjing Hong Ti" incident shocked not only China but also spread throughout Southeast Asia. However, the incident became more complicated when a plot likened to "fake meeting fake" appeared. That is, "Hong Ti" pretended to be a gender to deceive his "prey", and one of his "guests" was accused of faking his own identity and nationality.
The "guest" was a bearded man who became the center of attention on social media. He stood out in the secretly filmed videos of "Hong Ty" thanks to his rather "tense" reaction when he realized that "Hong Ty" was actually a man.
However, in the end, he showed an attitude of "Well, I'm here anyway" and agreed to stay. Because of this funny expression and action, netizens jokingly called him "I'm here anyway".
Images of the man, cut from the secretly filmed video of "Hong Ty", were quickly posted online. With the speed and "scrutinizing" ability of Chinese netizens, his identity was quickly discovered - his name is Mike.
Mike: The "international" kindergarten teacher and serious allegations
If the story ended there, it probably wouldnât have been so complicated. However, after finding Mike, people discovered a much more serious incident: People suspected that Mike had faked his identity, pretending to be a Canadian citizen to become an English teacher at a large kindergarten in Shanghai, according to World Journal.
Some people who knew Mike also recognized him and spoke up to accuse him of actually being from Uzbekistan, not Canada. This information was especially shocking because the kindergarten where Mike worked as a teacher was a very large school, famous for being the most difficult to get into in Shanghai.
The school has been offering international classes since 1994 and has been attended by the children of many movie stars and celebrities. For a teacher to fake his nationality to teach at such a prestigious educational institution is not only a scam but also raises questions about security and the quality of education.

Chinese netizens also quickly found Mike's social media accounts and discovered that he had a wife and children. Immediately after this information was exposed, Mike quickly deleted his social media accounts, further raising doubts about the authenticity of the allegations.
Legal consequences: Fraud, forgery and deportation risk
If Mike's alleged falsification of nationality to obtain a job is confirmed, it would be a serious case and could lead to serious legal consequences. He could have committed crimes such as document forgery and fraud, and could very well face deportation from China.

Under Chinese law, using false documents or providing false information to enter, reside or work is a serious offense. Depending on the severity of the violation and the damage caused, penalties can range from fines, detention, to permanent deportation.
Mikeâs case, if proven to be a fraud to teach at a prestigious school, could be severely punished as a deterrent. This incident also once again shows the laxity in censoring the personal information and background of foreign teachers at some educational institutions in China.

The situation of the "Hong Ty" case and warnings from the police
As for "Hong Ty" - the person who started the series of scandals, the Nanjing police are still actively investigating the case. Up to now, the authorities have not made any further announcements about the investigation process or the final conclusions about this man's illegal acts.
However, as sensitive videos and images related to "Hong Ty" and his "guests" continue to spread rapidly on social media, Nanjing police have issued a stern warning. That is, they suggest that netizens in any country do not share videos secretly filmed by "Hong Ty", as well as images that clearly show the faces of the people who came to see him.
