After playing the main role of "Chai" in the primetime drama "Di giua troi ruc ro", the name Long Vu became famous and received much attention from the audience. Many people believe that Long Vu's talent comes from his mother, artist Van Dung.

In a conversation with the media, artist Van Dung expressed: "My son's maturity makes me emotional. Although Long Vu has just started his career, the fact that "Chai" is well received and loved by the audience is also a great joy for a mother like me."

Talking about her son, the female artist said that Long Vu is an emotional, determined, obedient, filial and thrifty boy. She humorously shared that even though her son is a working person, the money flows into... his mother's account.

"No matter how much you earn, money will be transferred to your mother's account. That is something I do not force or require Long Vu to do. He only asked for my account number once and then transferred money to me. Every time he comes home from work and gets his salary, I feel happy with him.

I remember clearly the first day Long Vu went to perform. That day was my birthday, he didn't say anything but when he came back he was holding a small, pretty box. While I was sleeping, Vu came to my bed and whispered, "Mom, I've got this for you." I woke up, opened it and saw that it was a gold necklace.

"My son is usually the one who remembers everyone's birthdays. When he was in middle school, I came home from a performance at 1am, opened the door and saw him still awake and holding a cake to wish his mother a happy birthday. I was so moved that I couldn't speak. The money to buy the cake was 30,000 VND that he had saved, and the maid contributed 40,000 VND to buy his mother a small cake," Van Dung said about her son.

The female artist affirmed that because Long Vu's father lives far away, she always wants to spend time, be close to, and accompany her child. Van Dung admits that she is a strict mother. According to her principles, all the rules, regulations, and family traditions in the family must be known and followed by her children. As for creativity in work, she will not interfere but wants Long Vu to explore, learn, and develop himself.

The female artist said: "Acting is a "made-for-all" profession. Even if you want to support this profession, if the audience doesn't love it, it will be very difficult to survive. You have to have real ability to be able to do this job for a long time. If you are a "son of a boss" and don't have talent, it will be very difficult to do this job."

Van Dung said that when she knew her son wanted to take the entrance exam to the Faculty of Acting, Hanoi University of Theatre and Cinema, she advised him that this profession is very hard and poor, if you don't have real talent, it will be very difficult. Secondly, you have to be really good, otherwise the profession will eliminate you very quickly, but her son was determined to follow the profession. Currently, she is also excited with each step of growing up with her son.

In addition, the actor of the movie War Without Borders is a rather simple person. Even though he is the son of a famous artist, Long Vu does not dress up or wear trendy clothes.

She confided: "Hedgehog never asks me to buy anything. He doesn't know how to use branded goods. Many times when I saw that he had very few clothes, I gave him money but he didn't take it. He only had 2 pairs of pants and 2 pairs of shoes to change, he rode any car he was given without asking for anything. Once, his sandals were torn, he even asked his grandmother to take them to the market to sew them up so he could continue wearing them.

When my child went to school, I always said: "Do you have money? Take 500,000 VND to go out and have a drink with your friends." He didn't take it, said he had it. I checked his wallet and there was only... 7,000 VND in his pocket. I felt so sorry for him...".
