He was repeatedly awarded the title of Meritorious Artist and People's Artist, and is legendary as the "father" of the craft of making dried flowers and dried leaf mosaics. The fresh flowers that we give to each other can only be kept for 5 days before they fade, losing the memories of the giver and the receiver. But with dried flowers, after being processed, they can last for 15 - 20 years or more, never withering. The accompanying meaning is 'Please give me love that will never fade'. That is the meaning of eternity."

Tun Pham said that he also has a bit of "artistic blood" because he inherited it from his grandfather. In particular, on the wall of the house hang many certificates of merit from the State for Meritorious Artisan Nguyen Ba Muu.
