Yet he still found flower varieties that met his requirements and completed his mission of bringing fresh Vietnamese flowers to the world. After the country was unified, he went to Da Lat to do research on cymbidium orchids for export.

Thanks to his relationship with Vietnamese flowers, he began to research into making dried flowers. A special feature is that the dried flowers will be preserved and shaped by him to keep their original shape and color intact.

Vases, baskets or dried flower shapes, dried flower and leaf paintings by artist Nguyen Ba Muu have been exported for many years. He was repeatedly awarded the title of Meritorious Artist and People's Artist, and is legendary as the "father" of the craft of making dried flowers and dried leaf mosaics. At the same time, he is also known as the first person to make paintings with dried flowers in the world.

At the age of over 80, he still works hard every day with flowers, leaves and the process of creating vivid works of art. In the clip of his nephew, he introduces each of his works with a proud voice, each work he creates he puts all his heart and soul into.

In an interview, artist Nguyen Ba Muu once shared: "He is a person who dedicates his whole life to flowers. Flower baskets, vases, and flower paintings are still frequently ordered by customers to give to friends, partners, colleague.

Large flower vases cost 4 - 5 million VND, small flower cups cost about 200,000 VND, flower baskets cost about 500,000 VND, small paintings cost about 1 million VND, large paintings cost about 44 million VND.

The cost is quite expensive compared to fresh flowers because of their profound meaning. The fresh flowers that we give to each other can only be kept for 5 days before they fade, losing the memories of the giver and the receiver. But with dried flowers, after being processed, they can last for 15 - 20 years or more, never withering. The accompanying meaning is 'Please give me love that will never fade'. That is the meaning of eternity."

Tun Pham said that he also has a bit of "artistic blood" because he inherited it from his grandfather. In particular, on the wall of the house hang many certificates of merit from the State for Meritorious Artisan Nguyen Ba Muu.
