They were all adopted and surrounded by her husband and wife - Nam Cam's brother-in-law, Tu Xam and Bay Xi.

Poor life makes Nam Cam and her husband discuss big business plans every day. In the years after the country was liberated, the people actively participated in the economy, so he and his wife also accumulated money, pooled capital to buy a few sao of fields in Cai Be district (Tien Giang) to grow fruit trees. However, it seems that all their efforts were empty-handed when the flood season in the early 1980s swept away all the trees and crops.

Returning to Saigon, Nam Cam was bored, disappointed and constantly blamed the fate. Finally, father and son Truong Van Cam carried their bags and walked heavily to the house located in Sau Can alley (District 4, Ho Chi Minh City), where Ms. Truc was waiting.
