'Young Master of a Thousand Billion' Kiey debuts as a singer, does not put too much emphasis on economic issues, admits shortcomings

Known as the young master of a cult fashion group, however, after studying abroad, Kiey (Vuu Tuan Kiet) suddenly encroached on showbiz when he officially debuted as a singer instead of focusing on his family to manage the corporation.

Recently, Vuu Tuan Kiet (Kiey) had an official media debut as a singer as well as introduced the project KIEY'S COMEBACK. It is known that Kiey is known for the image of the young master of a large footwear corporation in Vietnam.

Besides taking on the family business, Kiey also showed a passion and desire for music and wanted to prove his talent. The new rookie of Vpop has had 8 years of cultivating, learning and developing himself, building his passion for music and practicing on his first projects since 2019.

Before officially debuting, Kiey also released many albums such as "Night To Myself", Sunday Sanctuary,... The special thing is that all songs in albums 1 and 2 are written by Kiey, with a European and American style with the main Electro-pop style.

Sharing about his passion for singing and deciding to pursue singing, the new artist said that since childhood he has been exposed to US-UK music, idolizing many famous artists such as Lana Del Rey, Britney Spears, Troye Sivan, Billie Eilish ... Among them, the most influential people in Kiey's creativity are Lana Del Rey with her magical qualities and Britney Spears on the values to create quality products.

During his time studying abroad, Kiey also continued to learn about the field of production and applied it to his 2 albums, both satisfying his passion for the artist's "ego" and proving his multi-talent and dream for art.

In the debut of KIEY'S COMEBACK project along with the MV "Labyrinth", Kiey shared a lot about the artistic path she wants to pursue. This is a special milestone because after 8 years of quietly learning, equipping many skills to pursue his dreams, Kiey stepped into the light with the desire to become an artist and be accepted by everyone. Above all, for the first time in the journey to get close to the audience, Kiey introduces a Vietnamese song composed by himself to "get acquainted", as well as a challenge that he himself sets.

New artist Kiey shared: " This "Labyrinth" is a difficult case for Kiey himself because he has always painted the music world with his own "ego", everything builds itself because of his own desires. When "greeting" with a Vietnamese song, Kiey thinks a lot, seeks to reconcile his personality and how to make the audience easy to feel and easy to enter his world. The song "Labyrinth" Kiey wrote after a flight, inspired by the song "Colors" by musician Tran Tien.

However, the story told in the song is from a friend who, when he falls into a spiral and maze of love, finally realizes himself as the one who is bound. Kiey confessed that he had not loved much, so most of his previous English-language compositions were from the love stories of his friends that were listened to and borrowed to be included in Kiey's musical world."

With this debut, Kiey wishes to have more rubbing when entering the arts. He knows that he is still a "rookie" who lacks much experience, so Kiey always brings the spirit of learning and self-training, honing his voice, producing music and composing. In the future, Kiey wants to aim for the image of a multi-talented artist and a singer-songwriter recognized by the audience.

Sharing about his passion for composing foreign music, the "rookie" of Vpop admitted that since childhood, because he was exposed to US-UK music, Kiey's use of English language and melodies was easier than Vietnamese. However, in the future, he affirmed that he will learn a lot because he wants to compose many songs in his native language.

At the press conference, Kiey said: "Vietnamese is very beautiful but it is a challenge for Kiey to compose a full personal song. The music video for "Labyrinth" is an experiment that Kiey tentatively calls conquered. Currently, Kiey has embarked on the production of the 3rd album, which will also be 12 songs but will have more Vietnamese songs. Kiey hopes that the audience will embrace the "originality" in Kiey's songwriting and music style as well as the fact that he is always learning, cultivating his voice, creativity with music and reconciling popular elements."

In addition, the young artist revealed that in next year's project, he wants to collaborate with a rapper and a young singer. Kiey hopes these combinations will create freshness in his music as he approaches different styles and gains more professional experience.

Stepping into the spotlight as an artist, Kiey hopes audiences embrace him and his music rather than the "young master of the trillion corporation" that everyone has known before. He thinks that having family conditions is also an initial advantage when there is no pressure to invest in music. He is proud to say that from scratch to build a family career, Kiey will also go from "zero" in music to build the world for himself.

With his family story, Kiey believes that he has more advantages than young artists who have just entered this field when investing in products is not pressure.

Kiey's parents are supportive of what their son is doing, he can do his household chores in the morning, and in the evening he can spend time on his hobbies and his own world.
