Becoming the representative of Vietnam at Miss Grand International 2022, Miss Thien An had to prepare a lot from costumes, accessories and maintain non-stop practice. According to the beauty, she only has 2 hours to sleep every day. However, Miss Vietnam Peace 2022 is still beautiful and radiant when present at the airport before participating in the international beauty contest.

Coming to support Miss Thien An to Indonesia for the Miss Grand International 2022 contest, there were "Miss tycoons" Pham Kim Dung - President of Miss Grand Vietnam and runner-up Ngoc Thao, Quynh Chau, and Tuyet Nhu. The appearance of her father at the airport made Miss Doan Thien An burst into tears with emotion. Before leaving, Miss Thien An's father sent his daughter warm advice and encouragement.

Thien An's father previously revealed that his daughter is a quiet person but has personality, is very obedient and independent. "Thien An is very good. Miss Doan Thien An (born in 2000) is currently a student at Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City. She was called by "Miss tycoon" Pham Kim Dung as "the poorest Miss in Vietnam" because of her special circumstances. Miss Thien An's mother died when she was in 11th grade, she lived independently, not afraid of difficulties. When going to university, Doan Thien An earned a living by working part-time at a glass shop, selling goods online to cover his own living and study expenses.
