Thao Ngo has only entered the dubbing path for the film about 1 year ago. Thao Ngo shared, she herself is a person who often "shows off", so every time there is a new product, she notifies everyone through social media channels.

"I see nothing wrong, nothing to be ashamed of when 'showing off' like that. If you have the ability but are not known by many people, you have to "show off". When the amount of information every day is too large and the number of new talents is also extremely large, if the audience doesn't know you, 'show off' so that they know you better, as long as you don't play dirty PR tricks. This is no longer an era where we can sit still and wait for others to know us" - Thao Ngo.

It is also thanks to the behind-the-scenes clips of voiceovers shared on social networks that Thao Ngo is known to more people. That also opens up many other interesting opportunities for her. Talking about film dubbing work, Thao Ngo shared, you must first have a good voice. "Good" is not necessarily "beautiful" because movies have to be real and in real life, not everyone has a beautiful voice. As long as your voice is the same color as the original actor's voice (for dubbed movies) or matches the character (if dubbed from the original language), you have a chance.

"Good" here is to pronounce correctly according to the required accent, know the technique of taking breath so that the voice has force when necessary, and know how to speak with appropriate emotions. If the above elements are not available, you can take voice training courses. As for movie dubbing, you need to learn a voice acting skills course. This is essential and you can hardly learn on your own. It is a combination of skills that you must apply at the same time when standing in the studio, you must have time to practice with experienced teachers to be able to instill and master it.

Secondly, to be called a voice actor, of course, you must know how to "act" and dare to do something different. If you're too concerned about what other people will think of you when you're in the studio, it's going to be a huge hurdle.

Currently, my main source of income is from recording advertising for the bank and jobs related to producing content with my image. For the advertising recording segment, a person with a good voice and has some good products can earn 4-5 million/hour of recording, which is also the time to finish recording a TVC. As for the number of contracts you receive, it depends on the ability and luck of each person," Thao Ngo shared.
