Artist Qin Di was born in 1922 into a feudal family in Shanghai. She was the 6th child in a family of 10 siblings. In 1938, Qin Di became a trainee actor for a film studio. She quickly won the female lead role due to her outstanding appearance. As for her and Kim Diem's son, Kim Tiep, because he did not have his parents often around, he was bullied by his friends, so when he was young, he lived quite a closed life. Gradually, Kim Tiep's psyche had problems and his illness worsened. Kim suffered from mental illness when he was 16 years old.

Every time he lost control, he would beat her badly. Qin Di used to have a miserable time because he was beaten by you. But she always avoided getting hit in the face because she still had to go to film the next day. Qin Yi's life lasted for a decade until Jin Tie died.

After his son died, Qin Di used all his remaining savings to go to charity, donating to the unfortunate victims of natural disasters. By the age of 100, she too had passed away.
