Sungmin carries Super Junior's visual, impressive Rap and Trot voice in Korea

Sungmin Super Junior was once one of the group's visuals, impressing with his handsome and masculine appearance. He also attracted a large number of fans with his special voice and professional dancing skills.

Sungmin, also known as LIU, whose real name is Lee Sung Min, was born on January 1, 1986 in Ilsan, Goyang, Kyunggi, South Korea. He is known as a South Korean singer, songwriter and actor. Sungmin is a former member of the South Korean boy band Super Junior and its subgroups Super Junior-T, Super Junior-H and Super Junior-M. He also held the positions of Lead Vocalist, Lead Dancer and Visual in the group.

Sungmin is the eldest in the family and has a younger brother named Lee Sungjin. In 2001, he participated in the "SM Youth Best Contest" and won first place for "Best Appearance" with Donghae. After that, both joined SM Entertainment and received formal training in singing, dancing and acting. In 2002, he was nominated for the "R&B" project with Xiah Junsu and member Eunhyuk. Super Junior's Sungmin's musical style is Rap and Trot. Recently, he has switched to singing Trot. His first Trot single is called "Lovesick" and is part of the Mini Album with two title tracks "Lovesick" and "Aeri". In which, "Lovesick" is a Latin-inspired Dance song combined with the sound of brass and electric guitar and many other percussion instruments. Sungmin was placed in an R&B project group with Junsun and fellow member Eunhyuk. In 2002, he, along with Typhoon, Rose, and Attack, made his first television appearance on a program called "Heejun vs Kangta, Battle of the Century: Pop vs Rock". In it, Moon Hee-jun taught Typhoon, Rose, and Attack how to sing Rock, while he, Xiah, and Eunhyuk were taught other singing techniques by Kangta.
