"Spider-Man: No Way Home" leaked 10 minutes of film, "lightning-fast" crew processed in 1 note

Many sneaky videos appeared on the internet, causing headaches for the crew.

On the morning of December 15 (US time), The Hollywood Reporter reported that a significant amount of Spider-Man: No Way Home was secretly filmed and posted online. Accordingly, Sony Pictures is working closely with relevant parties to remove this infringing content.

On the YouTube platform, sneaky videos of Spider-Man: No Way Home began to appear rampant after early screenings of the film. The platform's search algorithm inadvertently abets sneaky videos that go viral when suggesting viewers click on videos with similar content.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, a series of videos that are spreading online have revealed many important details in the movie, which will officially premiere on December 17. One of the stolen footage is up to 10 minutes long. Most videos are subtitled or narrated in languages other than English. Some clips are very low quality while others are quite clear.

Sony Pictures has been working with relevant parties to take down these illegal videos. On YouTube, most sneaky videos are taken down within minutes of being posted. If you intentionally click to watch, users will see the message "Video not available. This video contains content owned by Sony Pictures Movies & Shows and is blocked in your country for copyright infringement".

Before the premiere event of Spider-Man: No Way Home on December 13, the main cast and studio asked the audience to have the opportunity to enjoy the work without disclosing the film's content early to protect the experience. The cinema of the fan community is still waiting. Sony Pictures did not comment on the leaked footage.

At the red carpet of No Way Home's launch event, through The Hollywood Reporter, Ms. Victoria Alonso - production director and senior leader of Marvel Entertainment - reminded the audience to respect each other. The filmmaker shared: "Don't say anything about the movie's content. Let other people experience the movie the way they want. It doesn't make any sense for you to see the movie first.
