In the afternoon of the press conference on March 7, the authorities said that in the group of 5 friends sitting on the boat, one lied. Reportedly, on the afternoon of March 6, divers found a number of objects including a wine glass, a plastic bag, and a black bag with a bottle of wine inside. It is not clear if these items are directly related to Tangmo's death.

In addition, the police will go to Job's house to collect information about alcohol use (including amount and type of alcohol) to conduct verification of the status of people on board at the time of the accident. The results of the search will be announced on the afternoon of March 8.

Family asks for a post-mortem examination

According to Lieutenant General Jirapat Phumijit, authorities have taken testimonies of 65 witnesses in the case. They re-examined 3 of the names summoned.

Notably, lawyer Krissana Sriboonpimsuay, the legal representative for Tangmo Nida's family, said that the actress's mother requested an autopsy.

Tangmo's family filed a petition with the police asking Khunying Porntip Rojanasunan, former director of the Central Institute of Forensic Medicine, to re-examine the evidence left on Tangmo's body from scratch.

According to Krissana Sriboonpimsuay, the victim's family is discontented after the initial investigation results. Brother and mother do not believe that the late actor died due to a boat accident. The fact that the group of friends accompanying Tangmo gave a roundabout statement made the victim's family even more frustrated. They think that the death of the Thai star has many twists and turns.

Lieutenant General Jirapat Phumijit added that the group of friends accompanying Tangmo did not change their testimony during the interrogation. Currently, the police are waiting for the results of the injury assessment, the complete autopsy as well as the verification of the statements of the relevant people to soon make a conclusion of the case.
