Selina was burned 54% of her body, her chance of survival was only 46%. Selina suffered the most serious injury to her leg because during filming she wore stockings. The socks quickly caught fire after the explosion, causing her legs to be severely burned, and her face was also affected. The entire skin on Selina's legs was burned away, leaving the doctor only able to take the skin on her head to graft. Three pieces of skin on Selina's head will be removed, and then stretched into skins that are four or even six times larger. Then wait for the scalp to grow back and continue to remove the same three pieces. Selina had to undergo three such painful surgeries to end up getting skin grafts for her legs. During the 90 days of treatment, Selina had frequent nightmares. She dreamed back to that terrifying moment, when fire was all over her. When she woke up, she cried out in fear.

There were also times when Selina's whole body ached like a thousand knives had gone deep. She begged the doctor for more injections of morphine. She was trembling, angry, crying, depressed, and slowly fell asleep with morphine, comforting herself with tears. Then to avoid leaving keloid scars, Selina had to wear tight clothes, pressing the closed wounds to flatten. The body-tight shirt, although it will have an aesthetic effect on the skin, but also gives Selina terrible pain when rubbing against the wound.

Even Selina once saw with her own eyes the wounds on her knees that bled every time she sat down. Later, when recalling that time, Selina joked: "There are times when I feel like a spiderman because the whole person is covered with a mask." She shared: "Now it is no longer a taboo that I can't talk about, nor a nightmare for me.
