Selena Gomez admits to being tired of music, reveals the last thing in her career

In a recent share, Selena Gomez surprised when sharing about her upcoming plans in her music career. The singer opened up about stopping singing and will be preparing the final album of her career.

In an episode of the Smartless podcast, world-famous singer Selena Gomez made many people stir when she opened up about stopping singing in the near future. Specifically, the singer said her next studio album will likely be the last of her singing career: "I feel like that's enough. Maybe I don't need more music albums."

"I started having a lot of fun with music and touring was really exciting. I was working on the Wizards of Waverly Place series at the same time and I found it interesting so I kept going. But the older I got, the more I had the mindset that I wanted to find something to settle down," Selena Gomez said on the podcast.

The 31-year-old pop star insisted that there was one more album left and revealed that fatigue was the reason she was f.orced to limit her work. "I really feel like I have one more album, but maybe I'll choose acting. I want to be an actress. I never intended to be a full-time singer." Selena said.

Also on the podcast, Selena Gomez argues that switching back and forth between music and acting has taken a toll, especially on her mental health.

Although not a classically trained singer, Gomez has enjoyed tremendous success as a performer. Her music career began with her breakout role in the Disney Channel series Wizards of Waverley Place , which aired from 2007 to 2012.
