He regretted that the sugarcane shoots could not be used as food for the cows, because in a month the farm would take them back to raise them.

However, in return, Quang Linh received another "bargain" because the rainy season caused the sugarcane shoots to grow on their own and sprout well even though farmers had not taken much care.
