Who is artist Phuong Thanh?

Artist Phuong Thanh was born in 1956 in Phu Tho, graduated from the 2nd course of Vietnam Cinema School in the same class as famous artists such as: Dieu Thuan, Thanh Quy, Nhu Quynh.

Artist Phuong Thanh is considered one of the northern small screen beauties of the 70s and 80s as she possesses a round, kind face, speaking eyes and a bright, radiant smile.

During her more than 30-year career with cinema, Phuong Thanh has participated in about 50 movies and about 100 television episodes.

By the time the director gave permission to stop, they still hadn't let go of each other.

Although they knew each other before, it wasn't until this movie that Anh Dung and Phuong Thanh fell in love and decided to tie their lives together.

The two became husband and wife when Phuong Thanh turned 30 years old. After this role, the female artist rarely appeared on screen to focus on her role as a wife and mother, supporting her husband's career. Artist Phuong Thanh's last role was the role of a mother in the television series Wedding Season directed by Do Minh Tuan.

For her contributions to the country's cinema, artist Phuong Thanh was awarded the title of Meritorious Artist by the State. The female artist had a history of high blood pressure and passed away in 2009 after a stroke. Phuong Thanh's funeral had thousands of mourners and mourners.

In the early days after his wife passed away, Meritorious Artist Anh Dung said he could hardly sleep because he was always faced with sadness, everywhere was the image of his deceased wife. If it weren't for his daughter who was at college entrance exam age and needed to be taken care of, I don't know if he would have lived.

Too sad, Mr. Dung decided to sell the house his family was living in near Bach Dang wharf because it contained too many memories. He hardly kept any old furniture, perhaps just his wife's souvenirs. He placed them on the 4th floor, creating a memorial space for People's Artist Phuong Thanh.

The death of his wife came as a big shock to artist Anh Dung. Before the pain of losing his wife could subside, 19 days later, artist Anh Dung's mother also passed away. The two pains piled up in a short time, causing him to almost completely collapse. Along with the mild stroke, his memory decreased.

Meritorious Artist Anh Dung almost abandoned his job. He once confided that he didn't want to do anything anymore, because as long as he thought, there was no point in doing anything.
