According to shared, Vu Minh Hieu suffers from heart disease. At noon on Aug. 7, he was still participating in rehearsals for his new play in preparation for his performance on Aug. 19. After leaving, he fainted, and was taken to Ho Chi Minh City Hospital for Tropical Diseases by colleagues in the delegation. HCM was in emergency but did not survive.

It is known that because of illness, Vu Minh Hieu was thin and pale. The death of the young musician, who is only 20 years old, is a great loss for the Huynh Long Ancient Luong Troupe in particular and Cai Luong Tuong Ancient Vietnam in general.

"Despite being treated by dedicated doctors, Vu Minh Hieu did not survive. I've been pale and thin for months. Vu Minh Hieu's death is a great loss for Huynh Long's ancient luong reform troupe," said artist Bach Nga, representative of Huynh Long delegation.

Binh Tinh once said that musician Vu Minh Hieu from Soc Trang, when she participated in a performance in this province, discovered Vu Minh Hieu's talent for playing many musical instruments. Artist Binh Tinh immediately invited Vu Minh Hieu to join the troupe to train to become a musician specializing in composing and performing ancient Cai Luong Tuong music.

Recently, musician Vu Minh Hieu participated in a tour in France and some Western European countries with Huynh Long Ancient Luong Troupe. Vu Minh Hieu's father is theater artist Vu Thanh An.

It can be said that after musician Thanh Chau (the maternal uncle of artist Binh Tinh died during the COVID-19 pandemic), the Huynh Long Ancient Luong Troupe fell short because of the lack of manpower in the ancient orchestra.

"Vu Minh Hieu is a talented musician, I am very smart, as long as the director talks through the staging intention and musical effects to put into each performance class, I can do it immediately. Artist Binh Tinh shared: "Always love Ut, grateful to Ut, indebted to Ut... Then repay Ut and leave Ut so early. You're so young, Hieu, why is that? Rest in peace, Ut will take care of everything for you. I'll send one last filial gift to my parents on my behalf."

Actor Hua Minh Dat wrote: "Vu Minh Hieu is small, cute, fast, wounded, hard-working and very good at his job. Just combined with me to prepare for long journeys, unfinished jokes, unfinished promises, but why now... I didn't survive fate. Life is so impermanent, I love you so much."

It is known that the funeral of young musician Vu Minh Hieu will be held in Dinh Nhon Hoa on August 8-9, then according to the wishes of his family, he will move to his hometown of Soc Trang.
