Artist Duc Lang's biological father Hieu Hien died at the hospital

On the morning of April 13, Thuy Lien - wife of actress Hieu Hien said that artist Duc Lang died at 4 am at Nguyen Trai Hospital in District 5, Ho Chi Minh City.

She said: "He was treated by doctors, but he did not survive. He took his last breath at the hospital, in the arms of his loved ones."

According to his family, in the last years of his life, artist Duc Lang suffered from diabetes and many old age diseases. His health is weak, he was hospitalized a few days ago. Currently, the actor and wife Hieu Hien are taking care of the procedures to organize the funeral for their father.

"Brother Hieu Hien is confused. The passing of his father is a great loss for our family," she added.

The funeral of artist Duc Lang was held at his home in Binh Chanh district on the afternoon of April 13. On April 15, the coffin will be cremated at the cemetery. Before that, in 2015, artist Duc Lang was repeatedly hospitalized in poor health.

Hieu Hien confided: "Since Kim Ngoc's mother passed away, the loss has remained in my mind. I can only pray day and night for my father's health and sanity. Even, sometimes when I am sad, I have think of my mother and pray for her to be holy, help my father's illness to be relieved."

Artist Duc Lang (real name Pham Hieu Duc).
