Angered by the broken microphone, the American rapper-actor mercilessly threw props downwards, injuring one fan in the forehead. He now faces the risk of being entangled in the cycle of justice.
During the Aug. 30 concert at the Crypto.com arena in Los Angeles, staff repeatedly gave 50 Cent faulty microphones. The clip recorded at the concert shows 50 Cent appearing on stage, the 48-year-old rapper drops the microphone to the ground at first, however on the second time, he gets angry, throwing himself off stage with all his might. Soon after, the In Da Club hitmaker resumed performing and didn't care where the microphone went.
According to TMZ, the hard throw left a female spectator named Bryhana Monegain with a cleft forehead and scratches on her hand. In the photo posted by the news site, Bryhana had a deep laceration in the middle of her forehead and blood all over her face. She was taken to hospital for treatment of her injuries.
Bryhana Monegain, host of the Power 106 radio show, reported the incident to Los Angeles police. 50 Cent is currently a suspect in the investigation into the crime.
Currently, 50 Cent has not officially spoken about this incident. The rapper's attorney, Scott Leemon, told TMZ that his client never intentionally used a microphone to attack anyone.
"Let's be clear about this, my client never intentionally injured anyone by throwing the microphone away. Anyone who says things that are different from this truth is someone who is ill-informed and has misunderstood the issue."
However, the information Bryhana provided to investigators emphasized that 50 Cent intentionally threw the microphone to the area where the backstage staff served the concert. This is the area where she stood to watch the concert. This area was originally for the production crew. According to Bryhana, before making the throw that injured her, rapper 50 Cent looked directly at her.
Now, 50 Cent has also emphasized the news that Bryhana has been in an area that wasn't meant for her. Bryhana was not part of the crew that served the concert, so she was in the wrong place. In fact, Bryhana is the host of a radio station.

This scandalous incident immediately reminded the public of female rapper Cardi B. In August, at a concert in Las Vegas, USA, American rapper Cardi B (30 years old) threw a microphone at an audience member splashing water at her. The incident led to Cardi B being investigated by local police for alleged sexual assault.
Immediately after the incident, the supplier of audio equipment for the concert put the microphone up for auction on an online auction site. Finally, the price paid for the microphone has reached 99,900 USD (equivalent to more than 2.3 billion VND).
Scott Fisher, head of the audio equipment unit, said he "wanted to do something good" after the incident. The proceeds from the auction of the microphone were donated by him to two charities dedicated to helping veterans and people in particularly difficult circumstances.
After throwing the microphone at the audience, Cardi B was investigated by Las Vegas police. It was the woman who was thrown a microphone by Cardi B who went to report the incident to local authorities. Notably, before throwing the microphone at the female audience, Cardi B herself encouraged the audience to splash water on her to help her feel less hot.
