However, she recently announced to the media that she will likely use a translator to respond if she is placed in the top 7 overall at Miss Universe 2022.

Explaining her decision, Ngoc Chau said: "English is a second language, not the language that I am best at, so I hope in that moment I will understand the question in the most thorough way. If the question is within my power, I will surely answer it myself. I feel that this is also a solution that many other national representative beauty queens have applied in their responses on stage." Yuzhou's statement has caused netizens to debate hotly.

At the Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 reality show, it is clear that the organizers pay great attention to foreign language skills - a factor that many Vietnamese beauties need to improve.
