On the evening of November 8, Miss Ky Duyen's team released a video recording the beauty's training journey before competing in Miss Universe 2024. She had a behavioral training session with producer Duoc Si Tien and two foreign teachers.

Miss Ky Duyen confidently answered: "What makes me worthy of becoming the new Miss Universe is that I have helped 18-year-old girls save 10 years of their youth. During my 10 years, I encountered mental violence problems to the point that I smoked, drank and dropped out of college. It took me 10 years to prove myself and regain recognition from everyone. So, why don't I help girls like me save more time, maybe 1-2 months to find out their own problems and fix them. This can help girls regain their confidence."

After Ky Duyen's answer, two foreign teachers commented that the beauty queen's demeanor and eyes when answering in Vietnamese were quite confident, sincere and determined in conveying the message to the judges. Meanwhile, Pharmacist Tien said that Ky Duyen should speak more clearly about her past story, because not everyone internationally knows about her scandals like in Vietnam.

Miss Ky Duyen said she would bring a biography of herself into the private interview room so that the judges could better understand what she had been through. Recently at the competition, the representative of Vietnam had a scary incident when her national costume luggage was suddenly lost. Designer Nguyen Minh Cong - the professional advisor of the national costume that Ky Duyen will perform at Miss Universe - also shared his concern when the Vietnamese representative lost her luggage. "I hope Ky Duyen will soon find the suitcase containing the costume," the designer said.

On the morning of November 10, Miss Ky Duyen shared the developments of the incident of losing her national costume at the Miss Universe competition. On her personal page, the beauty queen said she had received information about the person who found the carton containing the national costume. Currently, Ky Duyen is contacting to get it back.

In another development, the national costume designer for Miss Ky Duyen revealed that there was a mistake that caused her "brainchild" to be lost. It is known that Miss Ky Duyen cried and almost fainted after receiving the news that her national costume was found. "Duyen just reported that she found the person who mistakenly took the National Costume. Duyen will receive it back tonight. She is crying.
