She once shared about that time: "Since childhood, Han was a sick and ugly boy, but had a dream to become a girl, to be a Miss. So since going to high school, Han has been teased a lot by his friends, which deeply hurt Han and made him have to shrink himself and interact less with people.

That also made Han focus on studying. And after graduating from high school 3, Han had the opportunity to study at RMIT International School, where he no longer felt stigmatized or disparaged. This is the happiest time, the happiest because Han can be confident to be himself."

Recently, on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day 20/11, Le Ky Han returned to Hiep Phuoc Secondary School, the old school he used to attend to volunteer.
