Miss Intercontinental 2023: Australian beauty withdraws midway, Ngoc Hang has another chance to win

Vietnamese beauty fans are buzzing about the news that the Australian beauty quit the Miss Intercontinental 2023 contest midway, which means that Ngoc Hang reduced 1 "heavyweight" competitor this season.

A few hours ago, the copyright holder of Miss Intercontinental Australia officially announced that Melany Wells - the queen representing this country, will not continue to participate in the journey to conquer the noble crown of the pageant.

"Melany Wells, the reigning Miss Intercontinental Australia 2023 is scheduled to travel to Miss Intercontinental 2023 to be held in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt this month. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control and on the advice of the Australian government, we had to make the decision not to send Melany to this year's competition," the organisers said.

Through research, the reason for this decision is said to stem from the unstable situation in Gaza City, so sending the queen to Egypt to fight Miss Intercontinental 2023 is quite risky and dangerous.

Although this year did not send a representative to the contest, the organizers of Miss Intercontinental Australia did not forget to send wishes to the mother pageant: "We wish the Miss Intercontinental organization will go well. At the same time, we will be cheering for all the contestants of this season. Looking forward to joining and seeing Miss Intercontinental again next year."

It is known that since being appointed to represent her hometown in Miss Intercontinental 2023, Melany Wells has featured on this year's "war horse" list.
