Lu Ru - Food vlogger has a unique ability in Vietnam thanks to his passion for eating, was once scolded illogically

This young girl often arranges a very large and eye-catching dining table, both "eating" delicious dishes and having fun with the audience. For her, eating is both a passion and a tool to help her earn a stable income.

"No one ever believed they had superpowers"

Appearing in an episode of Super Challenge, Food vlogger Lu Ru (owner of the Youtube channel Thanh eats TV) brought a unique talent in Vietnam - using hearing to hear and distinguish grilled meats.

The "difficult" topic for Lu Ru is not to look, only to hear the barbecue through the headphones from the kitchen's microphone. In particular, each type can only be flipped 3 times, she must distinguish and say where the meat is located on the animal. After a stressful exam period, Food vlogger surprised the whole studio by correctly guessing down to every little detail.

Talking to Lu Ru, the pretty girl outside is extremely friendly. Lu Ru said she was born into a family with a culinary tradition when her grandmother and mother are both chefs. That has made her have an endless passion for food.

Having been taught a lot of knowledge and experience in cuisine from a very early age, she wants to pass it on to people who are truly passionate. Therefore, she decided to become a Food vlogger, launching a Youtube channel with more than 1 million followers.

Lu Ru discovered her special ability about half a year ago, after a random question from a friend: "One day like any other day, a friend suddenly asked Lu, "Is it different to grill meat like that? okay?" Suddenly I stopped and thought about it.

From then on, I started to pay more attention every time I went to shoot or eat barbecue. I also tried with ASMR to make the sound clearer and more realistic. Gradually, I realized that there is a strange superpower like this existing in me," - Lu Ru shared.

As a very special and somewhat strange ability, at first no one believed in Lu Ru. Everyone said it was a myth, a fantasy... Not letting those opinions "bury" his ability, Lu Ru began to practice enthusiastically as a "reply":

"I started practicing from basic meats and gradually increased the difficulty. I also tried seafood, vegetables. Since no one believed, I decided to practice on my own, everyone would show me. Just help with the barbecue. Lu focuses on listening, using his memory and imagination to find the point of recognition of even the smallest piece of meat."

There are times when Lu Ru herself is confused and wonders: "Am I being too reckless?" but somehow she still firmly believed in herself that it would work. Food vlogger always encourages me to believe in myself: "In this life, few people do crazy things that are recognized, so why not try?".

"Some comments on social media say I staged..."

After the contest, Lu Ru received many greetings and greetings from relatives and close friends. However, there are some people on social networks who left negative comments, expressed skepticism, saying that the program was staged, but it is impossible for Lu Ru to have such a special ability.

She asserts that the challenges of the program are completely secret, players do not know in advance. About the bad ideas, she read them all, but then just smiled and skimmed through:

"I read the whole thing, I'm not sad or angry at all, I just smile. That's their opinion, I respect Lu. I understand that this different ability cannot be made every day or two for everyone to believe. However, the truth is the truth, nothing is impossible if you practice diligently."

Sharing about her future plans, Lu Ru hopes that the epidemic will pass quickly so that she can continue her journey to conquer world cuisine. The Food vlogger intends to organize workshops to share her experiences and help people discover hidden talents:

"Maybe you also have "super powers", you just haven't discovered them yet. Always believe that you are a special person."
