Despite being the son of one of the most powerful comedians in Vietnamese showbiz, Vo Le Thanh Vinh has never borrowed his father's reputation to enter the art world. He once frankly shared: "I don't want to rely on my father but want to be independent with my own strength."

He always believed that being born into a famous family was a blessing, but if you don't try, that starting point can easily become a burden. "If you are born at the finish line but don't try, you might end up back at the starting line," Thanh Vinh said.

That independence is also reflected in his personal life. He once publicly announced his relationship with an American girl, but in 2019 confirmed their breakup. Since then, he has remained private about his personal life, focusing on his career and a peaceful life abroad.
