Moreover, Le Tuan's voice was not suitable for the red music genre with fast tempo, heroic and powerful melodies that dominated the musical life at that time, so he thought he would not have the opportunity to follow the profession.

Le Tuan focused on studying and passed the entrance exam to Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics. At the time, college admissions standards were very strict. However, Le Tuan entered the top of the highest pass students in the school. Of course, his family is very proud of this.

Thinking that Le Tuan would pursue an economic career, once by chance, he talked to a famous female singer in the early 1980s. She told him that her singing salary a night was at least 20 dong and high. 80 dong at most. Meanwhile, his standard monthly student allowance is 18 dong.
